About Our Name

We chose the name "The Dancing Bean" because it evoked thoughts of happiness and movement. Our personal belief is that the performing arts capture this essence and can truly make your spirit dance. We thank all the wonderful musicians who have so graciously performed for us to date and the many talented artists willing to hang their works on our walls, and look forward with excitement to those who will share their talents with us in the future. May your spirits always dance within our walls.

Coffee aficionados everywhere are ripe with anticipation for this years harvest of coffee beans. The perfect growing conditions, coupled with a rare alignment of astral bodies, has given rise to expectations that we are about to reap the most exquisite coffees the world has ever known.

Legend has it that in circumstances we are experiencing this year, the ultimate "dancing coffee beans" are born under the purest and most rare conditions. It is said that every thousand years this particular alignment of weather, the moon, the tides and the water tables, at or near midnight an astounding natural phenomenon occurs. Just when the crop is at its peak and bursting from within with flavorful oils, they begin to quiver as though shaken by the breath of gods and curl briefly around each other. It is from this euphoric dance that the most coveted of coffees are brewed. Thus lives the legend of the Dancing Bean!
